I believe that we all have the capacity for healing, growth, and meaningful change within ourselves. My role as a therapist is to help you access that capacity, understand what is getting in the way, and build practical tools that support the life you want to create.
I work well with clients who are ready to be active participants in therapy. My clients are people who want support, but also want to problem-solve, practice new skills, and take steps between sessions.
I have helped many clients overcome issues with ADHD, anxiety, depression, low self-confidence, relationship stress, as well as understanding their identity after a major life change. Whatever you bring to therapy, we will work together to identify patterns, clarify goals, and develop strategies that help you move forward!
My background as a collegiate athlete and coach also gives me insight into the unique pressures faced by athletes, coaches, and high-achieving individuals. I understand the mental, emotional, and physical demands of performance environments, as well as the challenge of balancing ambition with self-care and being part of a team.
In our work together, I aim to create a space where you feel understood, challenged, and empowered. Therapy with me is collaborative while being focused on achieving your goals. We will explore what you’re experiencing, but we will also focus on what can be done about it. That may include building coping skills, strengthening emotional awareness, improving follow-through, navigating transitions, or learning how to respond differently to old patterns.
I will offer support, perspective, and accountability as you practice these tools in everyday life. My goal is to help you not only feel better in the moment, but also become more confident in your ability to handle challenges outside of therapy.
Every person’s journey is unique, and taking the first step toward therapy can be an act of courage. If you are looking for a therapist who will walk alongside you while also helping you take practical steps toward growth, I would be happy to work with you!
I am also available to speak to your team, organization, or staff to share insights and mental health tips from my athletic and counseling experience.
